OklaVision hosted a Fashion show at The Remington called Vision Fest, presenting three shows. First, a collection of various boutiques around the OKC area. The highlight of this collection was the adornment of LSD Hats, making it feel less like a mall fashion show and a little more like something Moschino Cheap and Chic would show. Second, David D'Angelo Caldwell, a contestant and designer on Season 2 of "The Fashion Show, Ultimate Collection." Though the collection had sharp lines, D'Angelo was able to create variation in silhouette with the cleaver use of magnets. He works in Black and neon, a common color selection at several shows around the world. And last but not least, the final show, Margaret Roach Wheeler. This was Design3's favorite by far. The originality is breath taking. Wheeler weaves all her own fabrics, which is the only true way to break out side of the fashion industry cycle. As of now, fashion is saturated in futuristic. I'm ready for something older, something rooted in the earth. Thank you Wheeler, you made our day! Flash to show: "Oh my God Mechell! Get your phone, we've got to record this!"
